Seen, too much

They are called stars, celebs, etc. but I see them as folks who wouldn't have made it in the fashion world 20 years ago. Jaime is the worst, Heidi, is really bad, and Amanda is the biggest in the underwear faux pas race. For some reason these women think that black underwear under the see thru top is a good style look. Look again, ladies, taint so.

Hogan certainly doesn't know best.

The Hogan women have really made a name for themselves. While Hulk Hogan has been fairly quiet about the split, (relatively quiet), Mrs. Hogan has made a complete spectacle of herself. The nubile 19 year old boyfriend and the attempts to see how sleasy her outfits can be have hoisted her to the pinnacle of foolishness. The Hogan daughter, Brooke, certainly follows in mom's foodsteps, at least as far as sleasy fashion goes. I also heard that she's not pleased about mom's bf. But is the young male Hogan any improvement. Right now he is out of jail, I think. It seems that the all knowing Hulk may know about wrestling, but he doesn't have a clue about family.

Has Paula Rubio grown or has the dress shrunk. I often wonder about that with my clothes.

Heidi and Spencer are marrying this weekend. Why is that news? And who is blown away by her new song? And when will this deadly duo go away?

New Kardasian show. One truly ugly and boring show wasn't enough? I am having trouble figuring out who is funding this.

Patrick Swayze- more prayers are needed. Let's get with it.

Mel Gibson and the russian hardbody. I am not sure that I could be more disappointed in a human being.

Lindsay Lohan seems to be all over the place in her behavior and her feelings. I do feel sorry for anyone who lives their lives in front of a camera. I hope she can pull herself together.

Kate Walsh was touted as a style icon for a while. But she seems to have lost both her fashion sense and her cool.

Gwyneth Paltrow had a frenemy. After her comments about the lack of intellect in the US I think she has more than one.

Joaquin Phoenix quit the movies to be a Rock Star. How funny is that. I think he just doesn't like to shave.

New Rag Mags show new diets and new pics of celebs without makeup. Looking like the rest of us but they made it into a magazine.

I love the normal, not normal thing in rag mags. And the Stars are just like us. So where is my pic in a magazine.

Keanu Reeves has a hat that smells so bad people don't want to be around him. Did it get that bad smell while he was wearing it.

I still can't figure out why Jamie Foxx thinks his opinions about a 16 year old girl are worth something. What does he know about being a 16 year old girl?

Beyonce and Misha

Okay, sometimes Beyonce looks good. Sadly this is not one of those times. I know she loves her mother and wants to be supportive but Dereon is now a good house to live in. And yes, this outfit is from elsewhere. Should have stayed elsewhere. Beyonce could use some help ignoring the over the top stuff she has learned from her mother to love.

And Misha has chosen to totally confuddle the fashion industry. She is wearing a beautiful dress that fits her well and drapes very well and would probably be perfect for Lee Radziwill. The dress is way too old for Misha, it is miles too long, it is not accessorized well, and her hairstyle is totally not in keeping with the look.

I think these two women need to make better decisions on their clothing and stop being pushed about by what designers and fashion writers say. Grow up.

Looking good

I am offering pics of Cynthia Nixon and Jennifer Beals looking wonderful in dresses that might be passed over because they are a bit unusual. This proves beyond a doubt that the right dress on the right person is a hit.

Second to NUN

The ultra covered look as seen for next winter. The NUN look has been touted in style mags and internet sites. The look consists of several layers so it's impossible to tell what it would be like in everyday life. And for some reason, one of the looks sports huge clown-like lips to go with the totally covered look. One could be male or female under all that and no one would know. I, personally, think the whole thing is ugly.

I think Zac Ephron is an OK looking kid. But GQ actually turned him into a geek. EEK.

Costume

Let's see here. What can I say? Not much. If I saw a real person out wearing this outfit I would have to sit down, laughing too hard to breathe and incredulous that anyone would want to look like that.

Drew

I am impressed by the changes Drew Barrymore can make in her appearance and still look sensational. Like all celebs, she gets some badmouthing from some folks about her changes. But some people don't seem to find anything good to say about anyone. I can easily be one of those folks. The newest Elle layout is amazing and Drew looks like a grown woman who knows herself and likes herself. Bravo!!!!!!

Jamie Foxx

I just heard that Jamie Foxx was saying some truly terrible things about Miley Cyrus on his radio show. His remarks left little to misunderstand about his feelings. And his behavior has turned one person,(me), from a semi-fan to a person who totally despises him. For a grown man to pick on a teenage girl in such a public and nasty way should earn him a huge loss of fans. If Miley was disappointed and said some things wrong, she is still a child. Jamie(Jackass) Foxx has no excuse whatsoever.

Eva Mendes

I am still trying to figure this one out. Eva seems an adequate actress--not great, not truly awful. She is a Latina. This is not important to me but could be to others. She is in some decent movies. I am sure that this is important to her. And I have seen writeups in the rag mags that call her beautiful and tout her physical assets. There have even been writeups on her style--which I think sucks. I saw the movie THE WOMEN this weekend. I was not impressed with the movie, more in a minute. But I think it captured the way I have always thought of Eva Mendes. Blowsy, over the top attempts to garner attention using sexuality and not much in the way of acting ring a bell. Anyway, I see the need for her to get herself an acting coach, a stylist, and a makeup artist. When on the red carpet she often wears frumpy short dresses. I don't know why. Maybe the dresses look frumpy because they don't fit so well. Anyway I do believe she needs Help!

I also spoke of the movie. There were 2 totally unnecessary characters in the movie which seemed to be added to make it a buddy movie. If you see it, guess which ones.

But

I can really get into the clothing line Isaac Mizrahi has created. Some of the garments seem just a tad impractical but some one much younger would be very happy with them. However, I don't care what a terrific sense of humor you have, wearing a purse on your head is just plain ridiculous.

The skirt is hideous.

I am confused

It would be nice if someone could please help me understand about Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop blog. She once said there was no one in the US worth talking to. Now she created a blog which offers advice to us lowly peons in her world. Is she trying to bring us up to her level? Is she making fun of us? Exactly who is her target audience? And is she being condescending or friendly? Or is she trying to be the new Martha? As I said, I am confused.

These admittedly minor booboos are just a few of the many wonderful actions which remind us that the celebs don't get the golden ticket any more often than we do. I wouldn't know what to wear to an awards event. I don't think a mermaid costume would do and I know that the beachwear look doesn't get it. The CMA's are dressy, definitely. Matthew evidently didn't know that. Camilla did OK. But as usual Matthew made the attempt to be offhanded and it just looked dumb. Kelli has an epically beautiful figure. I would have loved to see her in a sheath, classy but simple. This dress reminded me of Beyonce's fiasco at the Oscars. Both cheap looking and costumey.

What did your legs do to you?

I think Jennifer and Jazlene must be mad at their legs to make them look so totally ugly.

There is a great big question here only asked a different way. Please someone tell me not what they were thinking but if they were thinking. Janice, especially, must have lost her mind to wear a dress which is not only way too big, but butt ugly. The rest only need a mirror to find out why they shouldn't be seen that day.

Ah, it looks as if Mr. Valentino is this year's pumpkinhead. Fashion designers are supposed to be giving us visions of fashion and beauty. At least that is what I thought. But ORANGE skin is so not attractive.

I thought I was speechless. But I have a comment. Since Dancing WTS sort of revived her career, Lisa has been grabbing any sort of news she can make, even if it is awful. The sorts of things she is doing, such as standing on the street with a sign asking to be hired for a job, should be at least embarassing if not humiliating. Not showing lots of personality. Showing a Janice Dickinson sort of desperation.
