What can I say. Veronica is an unusual woman. For a while she was on a style show with The Tim Gunn. No more. This outfit may be part of the problem. First, the headwrap. No. Then the very voluminous top. She has an awe inspiring figure. But not here. Then there the teenage ripped jeans. On an older woman who should know better. And if that weren't enough, she went outside that way and even allowed herself to be photographed in them. Shame!

Yes, that is what I said. Trash. Taylor Momsen is a whopping 17 at the most. She has a cute figure, and a good smile. And she has the very worst taste in clothes ever. T shirts without pants, granny dresses, and now makeup that couldn't look good on anyone. Obviously the girl doesn't know about stylists but she certainly needs one. She has said she feels older than her age. With this look she is around 40. I am glad I'm not her mother.

I am back

I still cannot figure out why this pair is in magazines, on tv, or even spoken of but I must say that they do represent the worst of bad couture. Maybe the people they appeal to like athletic shoes and velvet jackets, really ugly legwear and stupid shoes, coats that look better on the original owners, and a mish-mash of styles worn all at once. I personally thing this whole dressing thing undermines the credibility of a person when it is done so poorly. I mean, why would I give credence to the utterances of a person who cannot dress themselves?

Is messy the new pretty?

I have to say, what I have seen on some of the runways tells me that there are women who want to get up in the morning and go out looking as if they just got up. The hair cut isn't attractive. The lack of make-up and the angry look is definitely off putting. The dress? looks like some sheer curtains were gathered and wrapped around the model. And the shoes look like she stomped a bird to death. Fashion? Not to me!!!

The hands herself

There is simply something misplaced here. The hair, make-up, and pearls. That speaks to a youngish woman who should be wearing a 40's shirtdress. The hands bring home a grandmother in need of lotion. Lots of lotion. The figure is wonderful for a teenager. The shoes say young boy. It is any wonder I'm confused?

It is amazing how the hands show age when the face has been botoxed and creamed and sometimes operated on. There is an interesting pic of SJP's hands on a rag mag web site and the Madonna arms are a known horror. I wonder if these celebs who work so hard to be thin really like the looks of veins.

A perfectly good dress

I would love to know why some people(Aubrey O'Day) would take a perfectly good dress or outfit and buy it in a size too small. Then wear it with all of the wrinkles and too small bust so it makes them look fatter than they really are. And think it's sexy. And who is she anyway?

New Stuff

I have heard enough about Michael Jackson. I thought he was a great talent. Now I think the Jackson family(all of them) are a bunch of money grubbers and fame addicts.

Britney Spears has been singing? and running around in a bikini constantly. I think she needs more voice and less body to do these things well.

Kanye West seems to like running around with a woman with no hair and less clothes.

Jon Gosselin is acting like a kid who has left home for a party school college.

Madonna has to have her arms airbrushed because she is skeletal. And she wears ridiculous clothes. I now place her in the Courtney Love category.

If you don't want a video of yourself naked leaked to the press, don't make one.

Rosie O'Donnell seems to be single. Maybe she was acting too much like Kate Gosselin.

Why would anyone quit their job after spending less than 72 Hours with a man? Self-respect. Nope, it isn't there. 15 minutes of fame, maybe.

There are so many teen and 20's stars??????? that they seem to have been cloned. Tall, skinny, mostly blonde girls and brunette boys. Boys!!!!!!!

I am wondering how a celebutant like Paris can get excited over a string of black pearls. Or is it fake, the excitement I mean.

This girl is adorable. The outfit on the other hand is deplorable. But, I really do adore her. But I really do wonder who tells her what to wear. In her interviews, she talks about how different she is from the boys her age. I agree she is probably different from the average teenage girl. And I agree that teenage boys are probably not appropriate at this time. However, I must say that her wardrobe does not reflect that she is more mature than the guys her age. It merely says that she loves dressing like a 15 year old. So there.

To think

Sometimes I don't know what to think. Rihanna got abused. That wouldn't make any difference in the way she dresses. But it did garner her a lot of attention.

Since she has been on the public scene I have noted her hair, make-up, and clothing choices. She has been very interesting. However, I need to stress that often she seems to miss the mark in the fashion department. Does she do it on purpose. To titillate our senses. To be noticed. Well it works. She does get noticed. However I don't think the notice I give her is to her liking. For instance. There is very little that is elegant about her fashion sense. Take a designer piece and make it too tight, piled with jewelry, completed with the world's ugliest shoes, and to that add too much make-up, too bright, etc. Then top it off with a hair style which in no way enhances her face. You have created a singer who looks edgy, totally with it, and to my mind unattractive. I do understand that not all agree with my assessment. I really do think most would agree that wearing a tablecloth outside is totally ugly.

Designed to death

I have always disliked most of Donna Karan's designs. But this is over the top. Why would a well-known designer let herself be photographed looking like this? Doesn't make me want to run right out and buy her designs.

Aside from being a mom who has let her need for fame get way out of control, Dina Lohan has also let her need to be orange get out of control.

Short harem pants, half skirts, jail togs, jumpsuits for basketball players. This is one of the worst, off color, ill fitting, and just plain ridiculous groups of clothing I have ever seen. I would be ashamed to appear in public in any one of these garbs.

Mischa

After a 2 week period of total overload of MJ demise stories I have finally come back to the celeb and fashion blog. But this time I am not going to trash the blogee. I have been noticing of late that Mischa Barton has looked somewhat ragged around the edges. It is clear to anyone with eyes that something is wrong. And I am not speaking of the fashion. This is a sad case of another youngster in Hollywood who listened to her own press and believed she was much more than a human can really be. The fall was inevitable. And the fall came. Now she is dealing with the problem medically and at her own request and I wish her the best. I have never been a fan to speak of but I certainly know pain and I hope with all my heart that she gets the help she needs. Judy
