I am still into fashion and I enjoy the celeb styles. But I'm going to make another side now. I'll publish how I see fashion in the mags and try to see if I can interpret it for me. At 72 I still don't want to stop caring about my own look.

Summer

I love jewelry. I love beautiful fabrics. I love boho. I love interesting shapes. But it's summer. It's hot. To the max. So now I love simple. Cool fabrics. Short sleeves, legs bare. And I love this dress. It is, to me, the perfect version of the little black dress. A dress that could go to a wedding, office, date, grocery store, high end shop, etc. And be comfortable.

 And in keeping with the simple theme, white shirt black pants with a twist. Of course it would be much warmer to wear than the black dress. But so classic. Lovely for a laid-back evening with friends, especially in an air-conditioned restaurant. I want the whole thing.

Can you say shopping? In comfortable clothes? I can. Still simple but with a wonderful pop of color. The light colors are fabulous for keeping the light summer fashion. And flowy non-fitted garments won't be too hot. I love the simple ease of this outfit.

Shutting Down

I signed up for 3 blogs. I can't keep them. Sometimes I have ideas and sometimes not. I'm shutting this one down and I'll have only one blog. Maybe I can do better.

Fashion, art, homeless, WHAT?

 Boy there isn't much that can be said for this except I think it might be difficult to wear. I fear that designers have gone too far in an effort to stand out from other designers. This outfit could be terrific costume design for a funky movie. But it has the impression that the designer stood in front of a lovely colored dress and said,"It needs to be more.............something." And it is more something. I'm not sure what.

 Laughing. And wondering where and how she could sit.

Cut off the sleeves and rob a store. Or sew them onto the bottom of whatever that garment is.

 Jeans are supposed to get worn. These surpass even the hardest wear. And don't you just love the low waist? In a country that is fighting obesity, just imagine the overhang.

Boy does that outfit make her happy. And sexy.

I love how easy it is to make designer clothes these days. Just stick a bunch of fabric together. And tell the model to frown.
